Victoria Road

Victoria Road provides Residential accommodation for four individuals with a Learning Disability. The service provided will support individuals who can potentially develop skills to move to transition to their own homes.

The service we provide is aimed at bringing a better quality of life to individuals and focuses on maintaining and developing their skills to centre on outcomes and a better quality of life for the individuals.

The property comprises of four self contained one bedroom flats that are individually colour co-ordinated and fully furnished, each meet the highest standards in decor and far surpass the minimum care standards. Each flat consists of an ensuite bathroom with modern shower facilities with temperature controlled water and all the safety features of any modern residential care facility, they also contain kitchen with hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave to fully aid in the transition and development of individual life skills. It is a case of move in and put the kettle on!

The fundamental need for “privacy” is paramount in any bodies life and the ability to shut the door and relax in our own space whilst receiving the best in individualised care is a the core to the design of each flat.

The property has a driveway to the front and a large enclosed back garden which is accessible for all service users. There is a small staff office on the ground floor of the property with a shower room for staff who have conducted the night shifts. The property is located within a small walking distance to the local shops, supermarket’s, banks, eating places and public transport. It is a “ordinary house” on a “ordinary street”

Victoria Road is a male only service.

Midway Care Group has developed a true transitional care home, with all the safety of regulated protocols and procedures and statutory requirements in terms of registration with CQC.
